Obituary
Billy Gene Holland, 80 of Fleming, passed away Thurs., March 3, 2016 in Greeley. Memorial service 10:30 am Tues., March 8 at United Church of Crook with Pastor Dale Pierce officiating. Inurnment to follow at the Fleming Cemetery.
Billy was born April 3, 1935 in Platteville, CO to George J. and Eva May Cunningham Holland. He graduated from Oak Creek High School. Billy entered the U.S. Navy and was honorably discharged.
Billy worked for the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad from Aug. 5, 1957 until his retirement Feb. 19, 2001.
He married Joyce Fetzer in Bullhead City, AZ on April 20, 1998.
Billy was a member of the United Church of Crook, the F & H Golf Club and the VFW. He enjoyed fishing and golfing.
Billy is survived by his wife Joyce E. Holland of Fleming, CO, sons Michael Holland and wife Shaun of Haxtun, CO, Mark Holland and wife Jody of Sterling, CO, daughter Pamela Stansbury and husband David of Parachute, CO, sister Roselie Randolph and husband Randy of Wellington, CO, grandchildren Houston, Shania, Rodney, Jessica, Christopher and Rachel.
He was preceded in death by his parents, son Rodney Holland, daughter Tamara Lopez, brothers John, Jim, Fred and Richard and sister Marie Cothran.
