Obituary

Beulah May Klinzmann, 83, of Sterling, died Monday, Sept. 12, 2011, in Sterling. Memorial services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 8, at First English Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Andrew Dimit officiating. Services will conclude at the church.

She was born Feb. 17, 1928, in Sheldon, Neb., to August and Alice (Ahrens) Gehle. She graduated in 1946 from Grand Island High School.

She was employed by United Airlines as a teletype operator in Burbank, Calif., and Denver.

On Feb. 4, 1954, she married Albert Klinzmann in Denver. She helped her husband with the farming and ranching operations while performing the duties of a full-time homemaker.

Mrs. Klinzmann was an active member of First English Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her husband, Albert of Sterling; daughters, Katherin Ottman of Rock Springs, Wyo., Gwen Duncan and husband Tim; son, Mark and wife Lisa, all of Sterling; four grandchildren, Jared Duncan and wife Ariana, Deann Duncan, Kyle and Jason Klinzmann; two brothers, Marvin Gehle and wife Jean of Albert Lea, Minn., and Leo Gehle and wife Arla Beth of Wood River, Neb.

Mrs. Klinzmann was preceded in death by her parents; two infant brothers; her sister, Florence Howard; and son-in-law, James Ottman.

Memorial contributions may be made to First English Lutheran Church for the Orphan Grain Train.
