Betty Lou Frazier Drommond Ramey, 92, of Sterling passed away Sunday, July 2, 2023, at her home. Viewing will be held from 2:00-4:00 p.m., Monday July 17, at Chaney-Reager Funeral Home.  A Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, July 18, at First English Lutheran Church with Reverend Richard von Steinman officiating. Betty will be laid to rest at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, July 20 at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Colorado Springs, CO.

Betty was born August 19, 1930, in Strasburg, CO to Art M. Frazier and Frieda K. Dietz. She graduated from high school in 1948. Betty married Lewis L. Ramey on March 6, 1970, in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She worked at First United Methodist Church in Colorado Springs for 4 years as the church printer, and then found her true calling as an Avon Associate. She loved selling Avon to the ladies and received many awards for her sales.

Betty enjoyed playing many kinds of games, she enjoyed putting puzzles together, playing bridge, and she loved traveling with her family and quilting with the church ladies. She was a very active church member at First English Lutheran Church, and she held various positions there.

She is preceded in death by her first husband Virgil L. Drommond, her second husband Lewis L. Ramey and her brothers and sisters.

Betty is survived by her children Lavern R. Drommond and wife Ellen of Billings, MT, and her daughter Linda F. Boettcher and husband Keith of Colorado Springs, CO; and grandchildren Jeffery Drommond, Justin Bearley and Wayne Bearley.
