On Feb. 25, 1951, Betty married Bernard "Bernie" Mason. They resided in Sterling until moving to a farm and ranch north of Willard. They enjoyed the country life for 15 years, raising their children and livestock and enjoying the blessings of friendships and family.
Betty was the proud mother of three children, Barry, Berna Jo and Brenda. Berna Jo was taken from her family at the age of 4 1/2 years. With the strength of family, friends and faith, Betty persevered and provided her children with a solid strength of character, book of values and the appreciative importance of family.
Betty was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. She assisted with the biannual church rummage sale for 40 years and enjoyed the fellowship with other church ladies.
She will be remembered by her friends and family for her keen sense of humor, her positive attitude and enjoyment of family.
Betty is survived by her husband of 57 years, Bernie; son, Barry and wife Deanne of Willard; daughter, Brenda Robinett of Sterling; brother, Howard of Sierra Vista, Ariz.; and grandsons Brandon and Kevin Mason of Willard.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Berna Jo; parents, Roland and Rae Stull; sister, Evelyn Debus; and brothers, Robert and Richard Stull.
