Betty Darlene Giffin passed away Thursday, December 19, 2024. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 3, at Riverside Cemetery with Pastor Kristie Firme officiating.

Betty Giffin was born November 17,1931 in Crook, Colorado to John and Pauline Potenski. She graduated from Logan County High School and attended Iowa Community College. She had one brother, Robert Potenski. She married Robert Giffin of Fleming Colorado on December 18,1951, who preceded her in death on September 13, 1988.

Betty worked for Mutual of Omaha for over 30 years and formed the first FLMI Society in the State of Nebraska. After retiring, she moved to Brush, Colorado to be closer to family and friends. She volunteered at various hospitals and was a member of the Colorado Association of Hospital Auxiliary and was a board member for 2 years at the Brush Methodist Church.

Betty moved to Wichita Falls, Texas in 2013 and passed away December 19, 2024.

She is survived by her two daughters, Susan Ruhe of Wichita Falls, Texas and Roberta Snyder of Aurora, Colorado and several nieces and nephews.
