Betty Lavonne Brower, 79 of Sterling, Colorado passed away Sunday, December 31, 2023. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, January 13, at First Christian Church with Pastor Lew Champ as officiant. The service will conclude at the church with a luncheon to follow.

Betty was born November 1, 1944, to Edwin Keith Alexander and Hazel Etta (Blake) Alexander. She attended school at the Indian Hills High School, graduating in 1962, and she attended Beauty School at NJC in Sterling, CO. Betty was a hairdresser and housekeeper for many years. She married Edward J. Brower on June 9, 1967, in Golden, CO. She enjoyed coloring, reading, drinking coffee with her sisters and daughter and loved cuddling with her grandkids.

She is preceded in death by her parents Edwin and Hazel Alexander, daughter Tammy Lynn Lulf and sisters Donna Kerstiens, Peggy Nelsen, and Laurene Alexander.

Betty is survived by her son-in-law George Lulf and wife Marsha of Sterling, CO, granddaughters Rebecca Frerichs and husband Alex, and Heather Rohm and husband Derek all of Sidney, NE.
