Betty Jean Barnett, 95, of Sterling passed away Wednesday, July 5, 2023. A private burial will be held at a later date.

Betty was born July 23, 1927, in Greeley, CO to William Krumland and Minnie (Loseke) Krumland. She graduated from high school in FT. Morgan, CO. Betty married George Barnett on September 19, 1948, they were married 55 years until George passed away in 2003. They lived in New Raymer, CO, Cody, WY, Casper, WY and moved to Sterling, CO in 2018. She enjoyed art, crocheting, knitting, and was an avid reader, even at the age of 95.

She was preceded in death by her husband George, her sons Michael "Mike" and Jimmy, her parents and a brother Frederick who was killed in WWII.

Betty is survived by a nephew and niece and 2 granddaughters.
