Bette Ann Marquardt, 58, of Sterling, died Sept. 24, 2011, in Brush. Visitation will be at noon Tuesday, Sept. 27, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, with services to follow at 1 p.m. at the church. Bishop David C. Nielsen will officiate. Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery.
She was born May 25, 1953, in Lovell, Wyo., to Claude L. and Evelyn (Morrell) Robertson. She graduated from high school in Lovell, Wyo., and attended Northeastern Junior College for two years.
On Jan. 29, 1991, she married Clifford C. Marquardt in Portland, Ore.
Mrs. Marquardt moved to Sterling in January 2010 from Thousand Oaks, Calif.
She enjoyed crafts and her grandchildren.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
Mrs. Marquardt is survived by her husband, Cliff C. Marquardt of Sterling; father and step-mother, Claude L. Robertson and wife Millie of Lovell, Wyo.; daughter, Christine E. Mushet and husband Douglas of Simi Valley, Calif.; sister, Colleen Workman of Washington, D.C.; and grandchildren, Mikaela and Andrew Mushet.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Evelyn Robertson; and sister, Claudia Negro.
