Obituary

Beth I. Freeburg, 75, passed into the arms of Jesus Christ her Savior, whom she loved so much on April 16th, 2013 in Greeley Colorado. She was born August 12th, 1937 in Palisade, Nebraska to Ted and Erma (Miley) Schreiber.

Beth graduated from Wauneta High School in 1955 and attended Rockmont College (now Colorado Christian University) until the illness and untimely death of her mother.

She married Pat W. Freeburg on June 16th, 1957 in Hamlet, Nebraska. After living in Longmont, Colorado for three years they moved to Sterling, Colorado in 1960.

Beth was preceded in death by her parents Ted and Erma, a brother Lyle E. Schrieber , a son Paul, and her sister Carol F. Wolcott.

She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Pat Freeburg of Sterling, son John and wife Marcy Freeburg of Rye, Colorado, and daughter Becky and husband Gary Brotherton of Greeley Colorado.

Deserving special mention because they were the lights of her life, Beth leaves behind 5 grandchildren; Laura and husband Scott Sigmon of Richmond, Virginia, Robert and wife Beth Brotherton of Fort Collins, Colorado, Casey, Caleb, and Kyle Freeburg of Rye, Colorado, and one great-grandson, Everett of Richmond, Virginia.

Beth loved her life in Sterling and spent over thirty years working first for Garretson's Sport Center and later for Clark Scriven, DDS. She enjoyed meeting people from every walk of life and treated everyone like an old friend.

Viewing will take place at Chaney-Reager Funeral Home in Sterling from one until six pm on Saturday, April 20th, 2013 (family will be present from four until six pm).

There will be a memorial and celebration of life at the Berean Church of Sterling at 2pm, on Sunday, April 21st, 2013.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to The Gideons International, PO Box 84, Sterling, Colorado, 80751 "…so that they may hear and believe".
