Barbara E. Boraker passed away on March 8th at Her son's home with her son by her side. She was born in Rocky Ford, CO to the parents of George and Laura Boraker. A private family burial was held at Hillcrest Cemetery in Rocky Ford, Colorado.

She lived in Rocky Ford all her life where she was married for a short time and had two children who she raised by herself.  She loved her kids and would do anything for them if they needed it. She was a home maker.

Barbara is survived by her son Glen Van Meter and her daughter Sheri Van Meter, grandchildren Cory Rector, Brianna Rector, Kennedy Van Meter, and Ian Martinez and Great grandchildren Carson and Ethan.
