August "Buddy" Earl Buss, 92, of Peetz, CO passed away Tuesday, September17, 2024 at home with his loving family by his side.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, September 23 at Peetz Community Christian Church with Pastor Jodie Harless officiating. Inurnment with military honors will follow at Peetz Cemetery.

Buddy was born May 30, 1932, in Peetz, CO to Henry and Faye (Hulslander) Buss. He married Marlene Phyllis Waterson on June 8, 1952, in El Paso, Texas. Buddy worked for Great Western Sugar, Sioux Ordnance Depot and was most proud of being a farmer. He was a longtime member of Peetz Community Christian Church and the Peetz Lions Club.

He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Marlene and brother William "Junior" Buss.

Buddy is survived by his children Edith (Doyle) Brink, Sidney (Susan) Buss, Charles (Jolene) Buss, and Jody (Terri) Buss all of Peetz, CO, 18 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, 8 great-great grandchildren, sister-in-law and brother-in-law Pat and William Waterson.
