Anna Frances Huffman Anna Frances Huffman, 78, of Sterling, died June 18, 2010, in Sterling. Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m., Sunday, June 20, at Chaney-Reager Funeral Home, with Recitation of the Rosary at 6 p.m. at Chaney-Reager. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 9 a.m. Monday, June 21, at St. Anthony Catholic Church, with the Rev. Robert L. Wedow officiating. Interment will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Huffman was born Dec. 23, 1931, in Thurman, Iowa, to Robert E. Lee and Rosa Elizabeth (Stoltenberg) McCord. She graduated from high school.
She worked as a waitress for several years at the J&L Cafe and the Bluebird Cafe.

On Dec. 24, 1949, she married Jack Huffman at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Sterling.
Mrs. Huffman was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church. She enjoyed reading.

She is survived by her brothers, William McCord and wife Carol of Carrollton, Texas, and Daniel G. McCord and wife Kristy of Tyler, Texas; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jack Huffman in 2008; son, David Huffman in 2008; sisters, Nancy Kane, Sara Leazemby, Edna McKee, Emma Howlett, Rosalee Gimbel, Clara Stevenson; and brothers, Gus,
John and Morton McCord.
