Alys Louise Von Ehrenkrook, 56, of Sterling, passed away Aug. 25, 2012, in Greeley. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 31, at Christ United Methodist Church with the Rev. Ed Bigler III officiating. Interment will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Hillside Cemetery in Julesburg.

Alys was born June 12, 1956, in Julesburg to Earl and Gladys (Gray) Von Ehrenkrook.

She was raised in a wonderful Christian family by her parents and four older siblings. She loved her Sundays at Christ United Methodist Church in Sterling. She will be sorrowfully missed by her church congregation and Eastern Colorado Services, where she worked and participated for many years. Everyone who knew Alys loved her and her hugs.

Alys is survived by her siblings, James Von Ehrenkrook and wife Joyce of Danville, Ind., Laurel Pace and husband Carroll of Mountain View, Ark., Earlynne Thompson and husband Daryl of Chile, South America, Doug Von Ehrenkrook and wife Joyce of Wichita, Kan.; 13 nieces and nephews; and longtime caregivers, Bob and Judy Webb of Sterling.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Gladys Von Ehrenkrook.
