It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Aline M. Charles 102, of Sterling, Colorado on Thursday, March 30, 2023. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date at Riverside Cemetery.

Aline was born in Goodland, Kansas on October 3, 1920. Aline married her life-long love, Raymond Charles in Kit Carson, Colorado. Aline was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Throughout their married life, Aline and Ray lived in Iliff, Fort Morgan and Sterling, Colorado. Aline enjoyed cooking, spending time with her family and pets and garage sale-ing. She was a member of the First Baptist Church where she enjoyed fellowship with her brothers and sisters in Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents James and Helen Hlad; her sisters Emma Townsend, Helen Emig and Anna Renner; her husband Raymond Charles; her sons Ronald Charles, Jerald Charles and Darrell Charles and her grandson Ronald James Charles.

Aline is survived by her sister Lillian Carter, daughters-in-law Connie Charles, Roberta Charles and Georgianna Charles and granddaughters Shawna Charles, Deena Schendel (Andy), Shelly Walker (Tim) and Tammy Charles and their children.
