Alex Salas Jr, 53 (known as Junior to family) of Sterling Colorado went home with the Lord on Saturday, July 1st, 2023. A small celebration of life will be held on July 22, 2023 @ 11:00am at Eastman Park in Windsor.

Alex was born on July 1st, 1970, in Greeley, Colorado to Ruth and Alex Salas Sr. As a young boy, he enjoyed working on bikes and cars with his brother-in-law, Al Duran. He was born a free bird, one with nature enjoying camping and fishing.  He could catch fish when no one else could. He was known to be a "fish whisperer". He was a very talented artist one of his many joys was sharing his works with family and friends. He obtained a Masonry license and worked in construction. He worked hard taking great pride in the skills that he obtained.

Alex "Junior" was always loving and caring and would give the shirt off his back to anyone. He never asked for much. He was very humble and lived a very simple life. He loved to make people laugh and was full of many jokes. He will be greatly missed and in our hearts forever.

Survivors include: his sister, Cathy Johnson (Jeffrey), cousin: Judy Schwindt (Bobby Joe), nieces: Kami Coulombe (Mike), LaCasta Duran (Rustie Cullison), Trina Duran, Angel (Robert) Park, Debra Wald, Tammy (Jose) Chavez and nephews Patrick (Monique) Wald, Teddy (Sarah) and Gerald Noeller; as well as several great nieces and nephews and sister-in-law Eileen Noeller.

Alex is preceded in death by his grandparents, mother: Ruth Salas, sister: Shonna Martin (Clifford), brothers: Dalton Wald, Jerry Noeller and Scotty Noeller.
