Alan E. "Al" Lamar, 73, of Peetz, was born Dec. 3, 1935,
in Laramie, Wyo., and died on Tues., May 12, 2009 in Peetz.
Family services will be held at a later date with inurnment
in the Fort Morgan Cemetery.
Mr. Lamar was preceded in death by his parents Roy and
Grace (Sams) Lamar, sister Jane Loos, first wife Amanda
Lamar and stepson Kelly Bickford.
He is survived by his wife Rose Bickford Lamar of Peetz;
children: Cheryl Champlain of Pueblo West, Alesia Bickford of
Peetz, David Lamar of Pueblo and Derek Lamar of Aurora;
stepchildren: Mark Bickford of Peetz, Rhonda St. Pierre of
Anchorage, Alaska, Karel Goldsby of Enterprise, Ala., and
Bruce Bickford of Peetz; two sisters: Alma Parrish of Boulder
and Bonnie Shoemaker of Brush; 15 grandchildren and 11
great grandchildren.
